In regard to the project work of Kantha Stitch details expenditure, Bank Loan, working capital, recurring cost, profit & loss and system of repayment of Bank loan has been given in table. The table clearly reveals the monetary investment made by the artisans along with details expenditure of materials, cost of different goods working capital and loan from bank for economic support to make the project successful. The table also reveals the cost of production and the amount of Rupees the output and accordingly net profit from the project. The procedure to be adopted for repayment of Bank loan along with interest loan is also given in the table in a very systemic order.
It could be mentioned that to make the project successful the artisans require Bank loan in addition of their own investment, moreover a number of artisans will work for production of finished materials of Kantha Stitch products. The help from advertise and marketing agency to sell the product in local, national & international market will also be taken. It is also expected that there would be a hand full of profit after selling the product materials. The system of repayment of Bank loan is to be made as per the declaration of Bank, to avoid the defaulter of paying Bank loan. Therefore the project on Kantha Stitch is very promising for the rural artisans to make them economically independent and provide them a regular economic support to uplift their economic condition. Thus it is sure that there would be no problem to repay the Bank loan and continue the project work as a rural socio-economic exploratory work.
The trainee under this project will make separate unit of their own and they will do it of their own residence. After completion of their training, the Branch Head of IDBI Bank, Sriniketan Branch will arrange loan for them to make their own unit.
Surul Suprity Society will provide skill development and design development training to the said trainee. Surul Suprity Society will also prepare the papers for having the Bank loan of the said trainees. Above all the Society will take responsibility to supply the raw materials and marketing the product in vicinity. They have the opportunity to sell their product in ‘Sani Barer Haat’, Santiniketan and NABARD exhibition.
