Tailoring one of the common art in an around Santiniketan. Raw material of Tailoring is available in our local market. Tailoring very much profitable and demandable in our locality.

It has regular demand in all over the country and outside also. Tailoring artisans eager to increase their production to meet the demand of the market but due to lack of training, it is not possible for that. Currently there is a lot of demand in the tailoring industries but there is no such supply system.

The Society time to time has organized training programmes for the artisans of Tailoring. After completion of training the Tailoring Artisans produce a number of products on Tailoring. The Society has organized market survey from the demand of the product of Tailoring. It has observed that those products have regular and high demand in the Market. Not only locally, it has demand all over the country and outside also. We will arrange for the sale of Tailoring product through Sonajhuri Haat, Santiniketan, Magh Mela, Sriniketan, Poush Mela, Santiniketan and Rural Mart, Bolpur.

The Society demonstrates the process of making Tailoring beforethe training participants. During demonstration training participants have the scope to ask several questions regarding any doubt. Accordingly the impact of demonstration helps them to prepare quality product of Tailoring. Therefore this type of demonstration replicates wider impact and quality products of Tailoring materials.
